The Twin Cities didn't quite rate as fashionable enough for Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe collection, but Mall of America is fertile ground for Nordstrom's new focus on baby gear. MOA is one of 10 Nordstrom stores nationwide to launch a full baby gear department.
Nordstrom has been steadily inching its way beyond baby apparel with toys and gifts. In the new department, adjacent to kids' shoes and clothes on the third floor, Nordstrom delivers the whole package: strollers, cribs, bouncy seats, even bottles. The brands are suitably upscale: Uppababy, Stokke, Bugaboo, Noodle and Boo, Honest, and Petunia Pickle Bottom, among others.
Nordstrom will celebrate the new baby gear department with a grand opening on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be giveaways, gifts with purchase, and representatives present from several of the brands.
