Weathered woods mix with contemporary touches for a collection of furnishings that have character—at approachable prices. Ciel (pronounced see-el) is French for sky, or heavens. Says owner Andrew Higgins, "I wanted to bring the beauty of the heavens home at affordable prices." He and his Tibet-based partner import most of their furniture and accessories from small villages and artisans in Asia. The rest, including upholstered sofas and pillows, is made exclusively for the store. Definitely worth a look before you drop a bundle at Restoration Hardware.
