
Nature Connects: Art with LEGO Bricks @ Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Open daily beginning Friday, May 15
New York artist and self-proclaimed “professional kid” Sean Kenney has crafted 26 sculptures from nearly half a million LEGO bricks, and they’ll be gracing the Arboretum’s grounds for your family’s viewing pleasure all summer long. Admission is $12 for adults and free for kids 12 years and younger.
Kindness Safari @ Como Park Zoo
Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Pack a picnic lunch and get your Minnesota Nice on! The KIND Snacks team will be hosting an interactive kindness scavenger hunt with activities inspired by the animals (see a bear; give somebody in your family a bear hug), flowers for you to take and give to someone else, and a take-home kindness kit. It’s free.

There’s rain in the forecast, but the kids can still shake out the sillies (for free!) while exploring MCM’s sprawling exhibit halls. Check out the “Sid the Science Kid” exhibit on view this month.
6th Annual Pan Asian Arts Festival @ Landmark Center

In celebration of Pan Asian Heritage Month, pan-Asian dances, crafts, games, face painting, an animation exhibition, and more will converge in Landmark Center’s main atrium. It’s free.
