Be a part of history as MAAHMG opens to tell the stories of African Americans in Minnesota. The inaugural exhibition will focus on the "Great Migration" in Minnesota, African Americans who served in wars, women who had a major impact on the state, and much more. Coventry Cowens and Tina Burnside founded the museum as a new organization with no relation to other museums. MAAHMG will open at 9 a.m. and admission is free.
