Samples of beer from Mpls.St.Paul Harvest Beer Festival
Let's be honest, there's no better way to spend a Saturday than with a craft beer in one hand, a slice of pizza in the other, and a gaggle of thirsty friends hanging out in a magical beer garden. Right?
That's exactly what went down at Mpls.St.Paul Magazine's second annual Harvest Beer Festival + Fresh Hop Throwdown on Oct. 17 at Bachman's, among firepits, food trucks, and all the pretzel necklaces you could handle.
Top breweries from all over the great state of Minnesota showed up with their best fall brews, including their contenders for the fresh hop beer competition, specialty brews made within the last few weeks from this season's hop harvest.
In addition to our credentialed panel of judges, hundreds cast their votes for the best in brew and top of the hops. Pryes Brewing Co. brought home the trophy bling for favorite brewery for the second consecutive year, and Castle Danger Brewing won this year's Fresh Hop Throwdown.
Cheers to another successful Harvest Beer Festival! Raise a glass to next year!
