Editor's favorite drinks in Minneapolis and St. Paul
Our January issue was all about the best bars in the cities—but what and where do our editors really drink when they're off the clock? We asked the non-food writers in our office to fess up where you'll most likely find them, come quitting time.

Beauty writer Elizabeth Dehn is all for the Negroni at Butcher & the Boar, "who makes them perfect every time. And because it should always be #negronioclock."

Ali digs the house-made ginger ale at Tilia. "My colleagues rib me for being a lightweight," [editor's note: Do not!] "But this drink is serious business at my favorite cozy spot. And no headaches in the morning!" Cheers to that.

What else would our Weddings magazine editor pick but Prosecco at 112 Eatery? "Because the tres leches cake just isn't sweet enough on its own."

We'll let Steph explain her pick in her own words: "I tip my glass to the Brothers Coen when I drink The Dude's favorite, the White Russian, in the Clown Lounge underneath St. Paul's Turf Club. The bartender's in a hoodie. A poet's on the mic. You're in your own surrealist comedy. Take it easy, man. Take it easy."

Design director Liz heads straight for Marvel Bar's Tomas Collins, "Because: pickle brine!"

Kelly is low-maintenance: "Cold, hoppy tap beer in the cavern-like confines of W.A. Frost's basement lounge."
