When it comes to wedding planning, it’s easy to get wrapped up in all the little details—trust us, no one will notice the shade of linens you choose—but Chris Martin of Sky Focus Films is encouraging brides- and grooms-to-be to think beyond their big day by giving back to the community—and he’s offering up a pretty cool incentive to do so.
As part of his “Give-A-Day” campaign, this Diamond Award winner will shoot and edit a wedding film for one lucky couple. In return for his donation of time spent filming your wedding day, you’ll be asked to do the same—in the form of a full day (8 hours) of volunteer work for the charity of your choice.
To enter your name in the drawing, follow these easy steps:
- Follow Sky Focus Films on Facebook and Instagram.
- Browse their work and post your favorite film on Facebook or repost your favorite Instagram film, including a simple reason why you like it, as well as the hashtags #skyfocus and #giveaday. (Don’t forget to tag Sky Focus, either!)
- Finally, submit an inquiry through the company’s contact form and tell them your story, mentioning which charity you’d like to donate your time to and why.
A winner will be randomly selected on March 1, and if that lucky winner turns out to be you (and you make sure to complete your day of charity prior to your wedding), you’ll not only get to walk down the aisle knowing your steps are being filmed by an award-winning videographer, but also with the warm fuzzies that come from knowing you helped improve the lives of others. We can’t imagine a better way to kick off married life!
