Our favorite trend specialists and local wedding gurus, The Wedding Guys, are in New York City taking in all the hot happenings at this year’s Bridal Week. Lucky for us, they’re sharing their findings with us here, on Aisle File. Be sure to check back regularly for an up-close-and-personal look at what’s new on the national bridal scene!
A private collection showing by Cymbeline Paris brought us in to dress their models with our favorite pieces from the collection. The intricate design detailed with a European edge is the aesthetic for the 2014 collection for the Cymbeline bride.
Tiers and layers are in this season and Cymbeline makes it flawless. From the romantic lace Hirma design in layered effects with its sleeveless or long sleeve detachable shrug makes for a surprise at the reception. The very modern Horizon silhouette thinking back to the glamour days of Grace Kelly, is a lace gown with a stunning detachable side train. It's just beautiful—you can't explain it any other way! But the sleek Havana gown with an open slit front is stunning with its laced edges and flow. Havana also has an underskirt that can be worn for the ceremony and then removed for the reception to show off your legs.
The overall tone of Cymbeline to us is a European edge, perfect for the urban bride who is confident enough to rock a red carpet look, but we’d really love to see the juxtaposition with the country bride who dares to be different.
