Posh Bridal Couture is switching up its inventory. Come November 15, the Wayzata bridal boutique will no longer sell bridesmaids dresses through an arm of the company called Posh Etc.
“[Bridesmaids dresses] pull our focus from bridal,” says Posh owner Marie Suchy. “We love bridal, we love brides. We are really trying to set ourselves apart [in the market].”
Not only will the move allow Posh to focus on bridal, it will also mean that Suchy and her team can bring Posh Rack—their off-the-rack, discounted bridal shop previously located down the street—under the same roof as the flagship store.
Posh will continue to sell dresses for mothers of the bride/groom, flower girls, and prom, and you can still order bridesmaids dresses through the shop through November 14.
Earlier this year, Posh opened its first shop outside of Minnesota in Nashville, and Suchy says plans for more expansions are in the works.
