Paper + Cloth
One of the biggest challenges that a local bride might face isn't where to find her dream dress, it's where to find one for her mom. Wedding planner-turned-boutique owner Beth Anderson was all too familiar with said shopping conundrum, so she decided to take matters into her own hands.
Having already established her hybrid Watermark Stationery / Kismet Event Group headquarters in a Wayzata storefront roughly two years ago, Anderson looked to additional investors to grow her boutique and carry popular mother-of-the-bride lines, such as Nicole Miller, Shoshanna, and Halston. With the bride in mind, she also added lingerie, little white dresses, and bridesmaid gifts, such as picture frames, jewelry, and totes.
Anderson will continue to carry her usual assortment of bridal stationery, with Watermark's fine papers and custom invitation services located at the back of the store. Interested couples can simultaneously talk wedding planning details and agendas with Anderson, whose wedding planning business, Kismet Event Group, also offices out of the space. While it remains to be seen what branch of the wedding world Anderson decides to delve into next, one thing is for certain: Brides and grooms looking to make the planning process as easy as possible now know where to start. 775 E.
