I’m one of those crazy people who get a high every time I organize something. A new planner, for me, is like getting a chocoholic a box of white chocolate-covered fudge drizzled with melted chocolate chips on top—is there even such a thing?
Nonetheless, when I stopped into Russell + Hazel this week to pick up a Recipe Book for a friend and a new binder for myself (to add to the collection, of course), I became sidetracked by the assortment of organizational and planning goodies they had on display for brides.
I’ve seen my fair share of these so-called “organizers.” Given my penchant for order and my love of weddings, my go-to gift for all my newly engaged friends is wedding planner (book, not person) and a collection of bridal magazines. I’ve given this gift a lot—but I had yet to find a planner that was both elegantly designed and functional for the bride. Some of the overly cumbersome binders are just too big (and ugly) to lug around, while the smaller, more purse-friendly options just don’t have the space for everything that goes into planning a wedding.
Rusell + Hazel’s sleek wedding organizer includes almost everything you’ll need to keep tabs on your big day. Available in about a dozen colors, the set includes 12 section tabs with pockets (for pictures and receipts), a planning notebook (to keep track of all your great ideas), and adhesive note set (for thoughts on the go), sheet protectors, business card pages, and more. It’s a planner’s paradise—trust me, I would know.
