Heartstrings Bridal, the full-service bridal boutique in Hopkins that’s been around since 2001, is closing. The bridal industry is changing rapidly, especially with the rise of Internet showrooms, and the owners decided it was best to close their doors.
Heartstrings Bridal has been going all out for its final closing sale, which began August 11 and will continue until the walls are bare. Cynthia Keefover, an independent retail consultant contracted to run the sale at Heartstrings Bridal, says items—which take up three floors of space—are priced at 30 to 90 percent off. That includes special occasion rental items—such as chair covers, table linens, sashes, and candelabras—as well as gowns and accessories.
The price discounts are not the only incentive for customers. Heartstrings Bridal is offering gifts just for coming in. Customers can register to win prizes such as a Keurig coffee maker, Hamilton Beach blender, Fitbit, and $300 Apple gift card. Prizewinners are based off a point system, which you can earn from visiting their shop, giving out referrals, and making a purchase.
