Whatever you have going on Saturday night, you may want to cancel it because we have an event you don’t want to miss. The Third Willow Weddings and Cadence Cornelius Photography studio opens its doors to the public in celebration of its new space. Mingle with fellow brides-to-be, photographers, local wedding vendors, hair and makeup artists, and of course the charming people behind the studio doors.
Designer William Weethee of Third Willow Weddings has teamed up with photographer Cadence Cornelius, and the product of such collaboration is a one-stop photography and shopping haven. The longtime “moral support friends” each hold consultations in the studio and hope it will become a place where brides can bop from one meeting to the next, all within the same walls.
Cornelius’s knack for photography is on display at CadenceCornelius.com, and the gorgeous photos in this post are a product of her creativity. Weddings, engagements, portraits, and boudoir are just a small taste of her uncanny ability to capture your special moments. You want a photography session for each member of your bridal party while drinking champagne and playing dress up? Cadence can make that happen for you.
Third Willow Weddings is the epitome of a bride’s dream: accessories, options, and customization. Weethee has 12 styles of clutches, four stashes, four shoe clips, three styles of shrugs, and some wedding medallions, all handmade. With more than 100 colors of silk and ribbon, the brides can come in and custom-match any accessory to their wedding. You want a boysenberry-colored sash and a clutch to match? Weethee can make that happen for you.
Cornelius and Weethee are in discussion about a forthcoming service, Bride Night. Brides and their party can come into the studio for a night of wine, accessory-choosing, and color-swapping. “We think it’ll be a fun opportunity for the bride and bridesmaids to bond, and will be just a fun night out,” Weethee says.
Saturday night’s party is a kickoff for the new joint studio, and to celebrate Weethee and Cornelius are giving away two must-have prizes: a two-hour photography session with Cornelius for any occasion and a customized clutch of your choosing. The giveaways are enough of a reason to make an appearance at the Studio Opening Party. You’ll find studio #105 in the North Wind Loft building (2400 North 2nd Street) near the Donny Dirks Zombie Den. Keep your eyes and ears alert for any mention of this new desirable duo, as their events are nearly as tempting as their services.
Don’t forget to come thirsty and dress your best.
