Taylor Hugo

Taylor Selcke

Taylor first discovered her passion for journalism at Minnetonka High School, where she served as the Arts and Entertainment Editor for Breezes, and the rest is history. While completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota's School of Journalism and Mass Communication, she interned for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Delta Sky Magazine, the Pioneer Press, the Minneapolis-St.Paul Business Journal, and even spent a summer in New York City, working at Seventeen magazine. Taylor enjoyed working in the Big Apple, but nothing compares to the love she has for her hometown—the "Minne-apple"—and upon graduating a semester early, she accepted a position with Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. Now her days consist of writing, blogging, editing, working with interns, and wrangling wedding gowns for photo shoots. When not in the office, Taylor spends her time cheering on the Broncos with her husband and dreaming of one day writing a novel. Follow along as she tackles life in her 20s and her first post-grad job on Twitter and Instagram @tayhugo.
