There are few things in life you can count on: death, taxes, and customer service at Nordstrom. So imagine my surprise to find the third floor customer service desk boarded up at Nordstrom Mall of America. Just, gone! There’s already art on the wall where the counter used to be, and children’s play tables have been moved into the entryway. Jarring, to be sure.
But while the desk disappeared, the customer service did not. Nordstrom is experimenting in some stores, including MOA, with moving customer service “onto the floor.” Want to check your coat? Ask a Nordstrom sales associate in any department. Same goes for packages—they'll even hold the ones from other stores. And if you have a billing issue or some other service question, a sales associate will get someone to help.
So don’t be shy. Ask, and the service will come to you. Which seems about right, actually.
