Business is really taking off for Hammer Made: Owner Jason Hammerberg is opening his third location next month at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport, in Terminal 1.
Hammer Made specializes in original, limited run men’s shirts, ties, and men’s furnishings. In its five years at Galleria in Edina, Hammer Made has built a strong following among Twin Cities men (including several Minnesota Vikings players and coaches, and local TV newscasters) who are ready to step up their game without stepping completely out of their comfort zone. Hammer Made broadened its reach to a more national audience when Hammerberg opened his second store last year at Mall of America, and since business there is strong, he's ready to "tell the Hammer Made story" to an international consumer. "High quality at a value price" — that's a language everybody speaks.
Fellow Galleria retailer InVision Distinctive Eyewear is also expanding locally—to the North Loop. InVision is joining the retail cooperative D.NOLO, which has been planning to expand into an adjacent space.“The vitality and creative energy of the North Loop is irresistible,” InVision Owner Anthony Bosca says. “I knew that I wanted InVision to be a part of it and when I walked into our new space – soaring ceilings, flooded with natural light, but still showing lots of raw industrial materials – it was love at first sight. We are thrilled to join a growing community of amazing shops.” InVision, which also has locations at Victoria Crossing in St. Paul, and Hopkins Crossroad in Minnetonka, is expected to open at D.NOLO by early winter.
