Now, the fun part. After months of talking about stores planning to open in the Twin Cities, they're actually opening! Everybody wants the lights on and the doors open before the critical holiday shopping season. Here are some upcoming openings. Check back—I'll be adding to this list. Friday, Oct. 26: Lush, known for its bath bombs and other cleverly packaged natural bath and beauty products, opens at 50th & France. Saturday, Oct. 27: Pottery Barn unveils its new look—a completely remodeled store—at the Galleria in Edina. Monday, Oct. 29: Lucky Brand opens a denim shop at Southdale Center. Tuesday Oct. 30: Prana opens its first Twin Cities store/studio, also at 50th & France. The active lifestyle brand will set the tone with an opening yoga class. Saturday, Nov. 3: Gust-o opens at Calhoun Commons in Minneapolis (near Whole Foods), bringing to five the number of blow dry bars that have opened here this year. Wednesday, Nov. 14: Madewell, a J.Crew brand, opens its first Twin Cities store at Southdale. Friday, Nov. 23: Intelligent Nutrients, the organic beauty brand from Aveda founder Horst Rechelbacher, is hoping to be ready for a soft opening at Mall of America in time for Black Friday. This will be the brand's first retail store . . . with treatment rooms for select services including cranial massage and aromatherapy rituals.
