The Healing Properties of Indigenous Foods

lynhallThe Lynhall continues The Nourish Series with a private cooking demonstration and multi-course dinner co-hosted by Dara Grumdahl, Senior Writer Food & Dining and The Sioux Chef Sean Sherman. During the evening guests will learn about the revitalization and evolution of indigenous food systems throughout North America. Chef Sean, a member of the Oglala Lakota tribe, was born in Pine Ridge, South Dakota and has been cooking across the US and Mexico for over the past 30 years and has become renowed nationally and internationally in the culinary movement of indigenous foods.

Tickets are $100 and includes a $50 tax-deductible donation to The Long Table Fund which will provide mission-specific educational opportunities and increased access to crisis mental health care for members of the restaurant industry.
