Besides being the first sake brewpub outside of Japan, moto-i has really come into its own as a Japanese izakaya with ramen, whole fish, a crazy brunch menu, and one of the more zen rooftops in town.

Rooted on the corner of Lake & Lyndale in Uptown, moto-i is an original. Delicious ramen, unique cocktails and house brewed sake served with a side of sumo wrestling. Chef Ryan Lee's Izakaya fare features asian inspired small plates, including home-made steamed buns, for which we are known for. Our menu also features Tokyo straight style ramen noodles, rice bowls and rotating specials that pair perfectly with a glass of our craft sake.
