Kim Bartmann turned a crusty old dive bar into a shiny new dive bar with Pat's Tap. It's a gastropub with skee-ball in the back, beers and bourbon at the bar, and burgers and charcuterie from the kitchen.
Kim & Kari Bartmann of Bryant Lake Bowl, Barbette, Bread & Pickle and Red Stag Supperclub officially opened Pat’s Tap in September 2011. The neighborhood bar features 4 vintage 1952 skee-ball machines from upstate New York, an impressive 50+ canned beer list, 18 local beers on tap, a wine list with organic, sustainable and biodynamic choices, and a menu featuring a gourmet twist to traditional bar fare. Pat’s Tap is committed to supporting local and organic agriculture through our menus.
Pat’s Tap is open 11am-2am Mon.-Fri. and 9am-2am Sat. and Sun, serving lunch, dinner, late night and brunch on the weekends. The full menu is served until 12am Sun.-Thu. and 1am on Fri., and Sat. Happy Hours are 3pm-6pm Mon-Fri and 10pm-2am Sun.-Thu.
Pat’s Tap is anticipating to be the 1st LEED 2009 Retail: Commercial Interiors Platinum Certified restaurant in the Twin Cities, and the 3rd LEED Certified restaurant in Minneapolis (Red Stag Supperclub is MN’s first). The Bartmann’s worked with Studio 2030 on the design.
