From the Doctor
David H. Palmer, MD is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in knee and hip injuries and conditions, specifically total hip replacement; both the anterior and posterior approach, hip arthroscopy, hip resurfacing, total knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, and complex total hip and knee revisions. Dr. Palmer has pioneered many techniques in hip arthroscopy, and minimally invasive, muscle sparing procedures for joint replacement. He has been on the editorial board of “Arthroscopy” and published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals.

He has participated in medical volunteerism abroad for more than 15 years in Afghanistan, Bhutan, and more recently Tanzania.
Dr. Palmer has based his practice off of the following philosophy regarding patient care:
"My goal is to treat every patient as I would want to be treated, regardless of race, gender or social background. I have a duty to my patients to keep up with training and technology improvements. I will use every method to facilitate a speedy recovery for the patients under my care."
