State Fair Kemps Little Farm Hands

National Park Service Centennial Day. Celebrate Minnesota’s six national parks with themed, hands-on activities and live stage performances. Monday, August 29 at Carousel Park.
Eco Experience additions. Specifically, a 15-foot-tall Paul Bunyan and a living green wall. Open daily, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. in the Progress Center.
Kemps Little Farm Hands additions. After you’ve gathered eggs, milked a cow, and taken a pint-sized tractor for a spin, you can learn about pollination and rain barrels, and check out soybeans, sunflowers, wheat, and straw bale gardens in progress. This one’s geared towards kids ages 3 to 10. Open daily, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Kemps Little Farm Hands.
Garden Kaleidoscopes & Floralpalooza. Check out a collection of Minnesota State Florist Association container gardens through kaleidoscopes. Open daily, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. in the Agriculture Horticulture Building Rotunda.
Hen House. Never seen a chicken lay an egg? Now’s your chance. Open daily, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. in the CHS Miracle of Birth Center.
Charlie Chopper. The helicopter-themed Kidway ride will give younger kids a birds’-eye view of the fair.
