Trick-or-treaters who enter the gates at 1006 Summit Avenue in St. Paul (above) will receive an assortment of donated goodies, from mini-pumpkins and apples to glow sticks, candy, and toothbrushes. It’s free.
Camden’s Haunted House @ Folwell Park in Minneapolis

Minneapolis Park & Rec Board will transform a community center into a vast and very haunted abode for your simultaneous terror and delight. This one’s best for kids ages 8 years and older, and it’s $4 per person.
Free First Saturday: Celebrating the Spirits @ Walker Art Center
Sat. 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Walker will offer up a menu of Day of the Dead-inspired doings, including traditional Mexican art-making, music, and a bilingual puppet show by In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre. Free gallery admission, too.
Free Family Music Series: Jack Brass Band! @ MacPhail Center for Music
Sat. 10 – 11 a.m. or 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Hear traditional New Orleans jazz and street music, along with new compositions from the Minneapolis-based, New Orleans-style Jack Brass Band. Kids can play and explore the instruments first-hand, too. It’s free.
Family Art Day @ Intermedia Arts

Bring your brood for paper maché and perforated paper arts and crafts, dance performances, and Latin American music celebrating the Day of the Dead. It’s free.
