Remember the "Hot Cheetos and Takis" kids? The ones with adorable faces with clever rap lyrics who introduced us to our latest secret desk-drawer snacks?
They're still adorable. They're still clever. And as their latest video proves, they're every mother's dream.
The Y.N. Rich Kids released "The Business" a week and a half ago, led by Dame Jones in a white suit and a stiff lower lip straight out of Jay-Z's early days. But don't be fooled by the attitude; "The Business" they're talking about is homework. Start playing this in the car, mamas. It's never too late.
Some more lyrical highlights:
"Don't worry if I write my rhymes, I do my homework, I do my homework"
"If I got bad grades my days would not be sunny/[Mom] send me to my room and tell me she ain't raise no dummy"
And from the interminable Aimaje (age 7), our favorite verse:
"If mama say do it then I'm gonna do it/And I clean my room like there ain't nothing to it"
Drop the mic. Mamas out.
