Its rich history and century-and-a-half-old beer recipes are what draw the crowds to Gluek's. This charming German-style pub dates back to 1857, when Gottlieb Gluek began brewing beer in Minneapolis. His business became known as Gluek Brewing Company and moved to its Warehouse District location in 1902. Gluek's attracted a beer-loving crowd throughout the decades until a tragic fire brought the building to ruins in 1989. It was restored to its original form later that year, giving the Minneapolis mainstay a new beginning. To this day, Gluek's continues to be a hot spot for live music, good food (including wiener schnitzel, walleye, and burgers), and big mugs of housemade beer.
