Music. Dance. Theater. Life! You’ll find them all at Main Street School of Performing Arts (MSSPA). A place of inspiration and imagination, our high school offers students an arts-centered education, wrapped in a rigorous academic curriculum. MSSPA is a tuition-free, four-year charter high school conveniently located in the heart of downtown Hopkins, and is open to all students in grades 9-12 throughout the metro area.

With small class sizes, dedicated academic professionals, and seasoned artistic instructors, our students enjoy a healthy, safe environment to pursue their artistic passions, while achieving both personal and academic growth.

Throughout the year, students participate in multiple music, theatre and dance performances. Our monthly student-originated performances offer students a chance to showcase their talents in a supportive environment. Annual fall and spring productions, as well as opportunities to perform at venues around the Twin Cities, give students meaningful performance experience with public audiences.

In the classroom, arts and academics come together with innovation and a commitment to excellence. Our teachers are licensed, acclaimed, and dedicated to their fields of study; our Advance Placement programs provide college level experiences; our graduates admitted to prestigious colleges and universities across the country. MSSPA offers the best of all worlds — academic achievement and a place to pursue a passion for performing arts — a winning combination that prepares students for any stage of life.
