Raising Readers Online Essay Contest

If you're between the ages of ten and thirteen, we invite you to participate in our Raising Readers Book Club online essay contest. This month's book is S. E. Hinton's The Outsiders, a powerful story of friendship and acceptance that focuses on three brothers who are growing up on their own in a town divided by class and money. To enter the contest, all you have to do is read The Outsiders and then choose one of the questions below to answer in 300 or fewer words. Our three favorite essays will win a $100 Target GiftCard.
