Bonefish Grill is open in the West End. The national chain is known for well-priced seafood in an upscale casual atmosphere. Not much will knock your socks off, but the crab cakes are decent and the Bang-Bang shrimp are kinda low-brow addictive.
Waconia Brewery has opened in the boondocks. The sassy taproom has a nice urban edge to it, and there's four year-round beers and a few seasonal rotations.
Speaking of Waconia, cute little Terra Waconia has lost its lease due to new ownership of the building and will close at the end of February. This is a bummer because it turns out some great food out in the boonies where great food is scarce. The owners are looking for a new spot, so my hopes are up.
