Scratch Bar & Grill opens tonight over where the 400 Bar used to be. That hasn't been the best block for safe hanging out, but we'll see if this scratch-cooking bar and grill can have a go with reclaimed wood and brick walls, a fireplace in the back, and a casual bar menu aimed at pre-Twins gamers.

Renewing the Countryside is hosting Feast! Festival on Sunday and Monday in Rochester. Head down on Sunday for Homegrown for the Holidays, when farmers and foodmakers will display their goods at more than 100 booths. Plus there will be chef demos and workshops, not to mention tasty bites of Minnesota goodness.
Linden Hills Farmers' Market will continue on EVERY SUNDAY through December 21, though they have smartly moved into the warmer climes of Sunnyside Gardens (they've also added some crafting fun to the mix). Kingfield Market will start its occasional winter sessions in Bachman's starting November 16.
