When Freehouse Beer's master craft brewer, Pio, was looking at a way to celebrate the North Loop brewery's first anniversary, he thought about an amazing flavor palette that could come back every year to celebrate that Prohibition was gone forever.
Returning again this year to celebrate the award-winning restaurant and brewery's second anniversary, is the Infinity [∞] Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. Infinity can help any beer lover celebrate or catch up with old friends during the holidays - it fills one tap of the eight that Freehouse dedicates to its own beers, as well as a full bar for your cocktailing friends.
The Black ale has a thick dark head with a sweet molasses aroma and flavors of chocolate, raisin, caramel and oak, with hints of nuttiness and vanilla. Infinity [∞] offers a smooth, creamy-mouth feel and warming alcohol finish. The full-bodied beer with gentle carbonation has received rave reviews from beer connoisseurs from around the country.
Untappd.com gave Infinity [∞] five medals, and locals await the beer's release on December 18, 2015, with great anticipation.
Pio personally oversees the finest details of every Freehouse Beer with great care - and Infinity [∞] is a passion project for the noted local brewmaster.
