I know it's Restaurant Week and you're all booked up with value lunching, but I think maybe you should just zip this in your pocket for next week. [caption id="attachment_2783" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Ramen from Kikugawa. Photo does not do it justice."]
[/caption] This is the ramen from Kikugawa's little skyway outpost in One Financial Plaza. It is a hefty and delicious portion of handmade noodles, charsu pork, egg, spinach, and a very nice earthy broth. It is a huge bucket of warmth and has mood-lifting powers with just the right spice for under $9. Seekers of meatless Friday lunch might consider ordering it with tofu instead of pork, zowie. It just occurred to me that I work at a magazine and there has to be a light box somewhere around here so that I don't have to keep offering up these crappy food photos. Sheesh.
