Downtown Minneapolis, are you tired of suffering through the endless sameness of Caribou after Caribou after Starbucks after Starbucks? Of course you are! That’s why it’s such awesome fantastic news that Peace Coffee is moments away from opening a fancy coffee spot in the heart of downtown skyscraper-land, in the Capella Tower.
What, is that the same Capella Tower The Star Tribune is about to move in to? Why yes, yes it is.
Because you cannot have a newsroom without coffee! Also you cannot have a newsroom without Patisserie 46 treats, which this Peace Coffee will also have. They will also have all the usual good Peace Coffee extras, such as Autumnwood Farm milk for the lattes, and they’ll even have some extra-fancy stuff for the coffee gear-heads in the audience. Ever seen an Alpha Dominche steampunk single-cup brewer? Now you can. Opening: Any minute now. And downtown spies: A little bird told me more Peace Coffee locations may be coming to the 55402. If you see any barnwood getting hot glued onto any marble anytime soon, let me know. Till then: Coffee achievers, activate!
