Some quick news for you on a Monday.
Jester Concepts (which includes Borough/Parlour, Coup d'Etat, and Marché) announced today that Nick O'Leary has left the company to pursue other opportunities. O'Leary was half of the opening team behind Bourough and Coup, along with Tyler Shipton who has also since departed for different pastures. Drew Yancey has been manning the stoves at Borough, while O'Leary had been concentrating on Coup.
A new chef has already been named: Josh Hedquist. Most recently, Hedquist has been the Chef de Cuisine under Stewart Woodman at The Workshop at Union, but has prior experince as an Excutive Chef for Todd English at his Campo Osteria in Florida. We did just name Coup as one of our Best Girls Night Out bars, so lets hope he doesn't mess with the lighting, or cocktails, or Ms. Ralena.
No news at the moment as to where O'Leary might land, but he did become a dad just this last year, so maybe he'll just chill with the kid for awhile.
