Wilde Roast is getting off its awkward triangle and moving to the old Picosa space in St. Anthony Main. Bigger space, serious sidewalk patio action, and a more idyllic setting will surely give it a new life.
So Landry's, which bought our locally grown Oceanaire Seafood Room, has made a bid for total ownership of Portland-based McCormick & Schmick's. Who knows how that will affect our local foodscape, but Voldemort says that the Oceanaire has plans to vacate its Hyatt spot and possibly relocate to the M & S Grill space on Nicollet in the near future.
Heidi's has launched its nine-course tasting menu (just in time to go along with its four stars). Three of the courses come from the dinner menu, but the remaining six courses have been created specially for the tasting. I've heard talk of a kung pao pheasant, a wagyu beef course, and tableside ice cream. Shazzam!
