Q: Is anyone in town still doing morel dinners like Bayport Cookery used to do?
A: Funny enough, I just got a little note from Don Saunders that In Season will be hosting a six course morel tasting dinner on May 18-20 in conjunction with Jim Kyndberg, former chef/owner of Bayport. Tickets are $70/guest and will get you a seat for six dishes all celebrating morels. You might even see the legendary mushroom ice cream.
