From the owners of Haus Salon, a sleek blow-dry bar offering shampoo and style for $35. The 60-minute service starts with a blissful scalp and neck massage. Choose from a menu of styles like boho and bombshell or create your own. Waxing, makeup application, brow and lash tints, and faux lashes are also available.

At this blow-dry bar, the mixologists serve both lemonade and an exclusive shampoo customized for your hair type. A shampoo and blow-dry is $35, with a menu of styles to choose from. A VIP room can be rented for parties. For girls 10 and under, there’s a $25 “Princess Blast.” Waxing and makeup application are also available.

A vibrant setting with orange and pink walls, murals and ornate mirrors sets the tone at this blow dry bar run by Kacey Pohlad and Betsy Hawn, two marketing/retail pros with an appreciation for fabulous hair. (Hawn lives in Minneapolis; Pohlad is in Boston, where a second Gust-o is in the works.) Service is polished, and products are top-notch: Oribe and Living Proof. In addition to $35 blowouts, the menu includes up-dos and makeup application. Hours are somewhat limited to start: Wednesday-Sunday; schedule varies by day.

Blowouts at your doorstep—literally. Rather than open a blow-dry bar, Jon Charles Salon, which is known for its blow-dry expertise, converted an Airstream into a mobile salon available for hire. Great for weddings, proms, and special events. It’s $75 per hour/per guest with a minimum of five people.
