Why: To support local, independent, and female-owned businesses, and to raise funds for Project Success—a nonprofit youth development organization in Minneapolis.
Spotted: Local designers, avid shoppers, and friends of Project Success.
The Scene: Well-dressed ladies checked out vintage-inspired jewelry by Realia, apparel from Local Motion, and handbags from J.W. Hulme. (Fun fact: HBO star Lena Dunham carried one of the J.W. Hulme bags in the pilot episode of Girls.)
Eats: Partygoers sipped wine, beer, and cocktails. There were plenty of sweets on hand, from pistachio macaroons to chocolate ganache-filled cupcakes by Cocoa & Fig.
