Iron and Wine
Iron and Wine’s fifth album, Ghost on Ghost, finds its progenitor Sam Beam using lush, retro, 1970s-like arrangements more akin to the heyday of R&B than his previous incarnation as a guy with a beard and guitar recording songs in his living room. Iron and Wine has come a long way—or maybe this was the direction he was headed all along.

Jherek Bischoff: Composed
Seattle composer Jherek Bischoff will perform his latest album, Composed, with the help of some stellar local talent, including guest vocalists Channy Leaneagh (Poliça), Sondre Lerche, Ólöf Arnalds, and a Twin Cities–based chamber ensemble, all backed by Deerhoof drummer Greg Saunier.
