As the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden spiraled into a massive renovation, many of its treasures were stored. A few, however, found new homes. For Molecule, Ordovician Pore, and Prophecy of the Ancients that’s at Gold Medal Park. In a more rarified moment, Standing Glass Fish, formerly in the Cowles Conservatory near the Walker Art Center, united with its defacto brother, the Weisman Art Museum. Both are creations of L.A.-based, Pritzker Prize–winning architect Frank Gehry. If the symbiosis of our second most famous Gehry now living within our first isn’t enough, how’s this: Standing Glass Fish’s new museum home is inside the gallery of Karen Bachman & Robert Fisch.
