Real Wedding of the Year

The Devins's

Jessica and Michael Devins’s wedding at Rosenwood Farm in Afton on June 22 was a true labor of love. Craving a family celebration filled with personal details, the couple crafted nearly every detail by hand. Jessica’s vision included a labeled bottle for each attendee, pinwheels that served as escort cards, and sunglasses for all the guests in an effort to help them stay cool. She also enlisted the services of her bridesmaids to create a treats table, and later in the day she surprised her wedding party by sneaking them off to a field to light paper lanterns. “The whole day appears to be so sweet,” remarked one judge. “It’s clear plenty of thought went into each detail,” added another, lauding the great lengths Jessica went to in order to make her day unique and intimate. Mission accomplished.
