Parents used to complain that once kids graduated from baby boutiques, there were few options beyond the big chains. A couple of new specialty stores are making the grade, offering on-trend clothes that should fit straight through elementary school. Swedish brand Polarn O. Pyret opens its first Minnesota store this month at Galleria; Pacifier’s third store, opening this month at 50th & France, has bigger kids in mind. Which is a good thing, because those first-day outfits live on in pictures forever. (Remember your fifth-grade culottes?)
