Minneapolis College of Art and Design's 125th Anni

On September 17, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) celebrated its 125th anniversary with a unique party that brought together Pop icon (and MCAD alum) James Rosenquist, students, artists, and leaders of the Twin Cities’ cultural and creative communities.

In addition to an art auction of work by famed MCAD alumni, the evening featured a festive dinner, interactive art experiences and a show-stopping performance by multi-media artist DJ Spooky (aka Paul Miller).

The evening celebrated MCAD as a catalyst for creativity for 125 yearsand raised nearly $300,000 for scholarships for the next generation of artists and designers.
