When on the hunt for the best Chicago dog outside of Chicago, one must consider the exacting list of components necessary to even merit consideration: A beef frankfurter must be slipped inside a poppy seed bun and topped with mustard (no ketchup!), then piled high with white onions, sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle wedge, tomatoes, sport peppers and—most importantly—a dash of celery salt.
