90 Days of Summer: Editors' Picks
Day 53: A Scenic Commute
Getting to work is no grind when you’re taking the Cedar Lake Trail.
As America’s first bicycle freeway, the urban Cedar Lake Trail
is packed during prime commute times, and for good reason: It’s an environmentally friendly and fast way to get into the city—without the cost of parking. There’s no reason you can’t enjoy the four-mile route off its peak hours; start at Cedar Lake on bike, by rollerblades, or even on foot, and hit a patio on Nicollet Mall for a perfect weekend evening.
