"Our favorite element is the fox fabric. It was the starting point for our design, and it inspired the color palette, the fabric, the art, and other elements!”

~ Rob Edman, Allied ASID

Homeowners Whitney and Andy Blessing have three young children and they asked the interior designers to create design schemes for the children’s rooms that were gender-neutral.

For Weston’s room, interior designers Rob Edman and Laura Engen envisioned an earth-toned background with bright primary colored accents. They found a charming fox fabric that helped establish the color palette for the space.

One of the biggest challenges in this room was the existing sprinkler pipes. Instead of trying to disguise the pipes, Edman and Engen decided to celebrate them by making them an integral part of their design solution.

By adding colorful stripes and a mix of industrial and modern elements, the designers created a timeless room that young Weston can grow into.

What We Love

The mix of price points within the room. Edman and Engen prove that you don’t have to spend a fortune to create something really amazing and fun!
