“Our goal was to design a space where Gwyneth Blessing can blossom and grow.”
~ KAtie Lewis, Allied ASID
With this charming third-floor room, interior designers Katie Lewis and Angie Picotte wanted to create a sweet, comfortable, and functional space. Challenged by the room’s asymmetrical and slanted ceiling, the designers planned the space for optimum functionality, balance, and harmony.
The designers found a flowery chandelier that sparkles with Gwyneth’s favorite colors of purple and pink, and painted the ceiling a bold purple as a dramatic backdrop. They designed built-in shelving and storage for clothing, toys, and books, and found a comfy chair and ottoman for reading with mom and dad.
To make the most of the views of the park below, the designers created timeless, light and airy window treatments that provide privacy and security while still allowing natural light to illuminate the room.
