The media room, which is more commonly dubbed the "showtime man cave," houses 30 years worth of Playbills they've collected.

Home: Loft in Northeast Minneapolis
The Draw: Location, view, and city vibe
When Pat Evans is off-air, he signs out of the Golden Valley studios and soaks in the best views of downtown Minneapolis at home. He and his partner, Kurt Paben, a Carlson Marketing executive, share a loft that overlooks the skyline, train tracks, and Target Field, which he says is incredible on fireworks nights. “One of the joys of living here is we walk to Target Field often and share season tickets–we have the cheap seats,” Evans says.
Usually Evans and Paben spend their weekends biking or walking, often to a game or the Guthrie–Evans is a huge theater buff and reviews productions in his “Kare about the Arts” segments. For shopping, the pair hits the North Loop. “I love martinpatrick3; Greg Walsh did a beautiful job over there,” says Evans. And quite often they’re found restaurant-hopping among their local favorites, which include Rachel’s, Ginger Hop, Masu, Wilde Roast, Northeast Social, Brasa, and the new Psycho Suzi’s.
A nice kitchen and a grill on the deck help encourage a little cooking, and a cushy theater room beckons for watching old movies. And, best of all, Evans says, he never tires of that view.
