  • Long Bob + Pink Tint: "A collarbone-grazing bob with diffused ends gives a grown-out feel while still maintaining a strong shape," Beenders says. She also suggests stepping up a basic blond with rose and pink dimensions.
  • Refined Braids: Braids are for grownups this fall, especially when folded, crisscrossed, and secured at the nape of the neck—an elegant twist Beenders fashioned for Christian Siriano’s opulent fall runway show. The trick to neat, rounded braids, Beenders says, is to make an inverted fishtail braid on each side of the head beginning at the crown and working to the back of the ear.
  • Groomed Ponytail: To fully embrace fall’s tailored menswear-inspired apparel, go for a slick hairstyle. Beenders styled polished ponytails for Stella McCartney’s fall runway presentation. The secret: the more effortless it appears, the more product required. Beenders relied on Aveda’s Smooth Infusion Style Prep and a flat iron to get the slick look.
