Because August has no holiday, I feel called to celebrate summer Sunday mornings with a little bloody mary toast on the patio. The all-natural concoction comes in three heat levels: horseradish, original, and “friendly.”
I like the smoky balance and linger of spice on the back, and I love that it delivers a round veggie-tomato punch that isn’t overly sweet like other premixes. I’m also not above pouring some of this mix into a lager for a red beer, mixing it into ground beef for some saucy burgers, or using it as a marinade for grilled shrimp.
