Where and What to Eat

Eat & Tell: Where is a Fun and Casual Place in St. Paul for a Groom's Dinner?

St. Paul Groom's Dinner

Q: We are planning a groom’s dinner in St. Paul, and we don’t want anything fancy as the wedding is going to be at the St. Paul Hotel … so we want a casual and fun restaurant the night before. We’d need space for about 100 people, what do you think?

A: You might want to check out Cossetta's right downtown, they have a new (almost openend) rooftop restaurant and some other event spaces. It's good Italian-American and a relaxed, fun vibe. Another place downtown is Christos at the Depot, they do a lot of banquet stuff and the food is good and honest Greek. And finally, if it were me, I would say go ratpack retro and grab some room at Mancini's which is all about old-school coolness. Not to mention there's often live music and dancing, and suddenly your night turns into an unbelievably good time.
